Hibernating

I have been hibernating much of the Christmas season.

When I was not working, nor spending time with my family .. I have been in bed, and not in a fun way.

I want to thank those who posted their concerns from my last post.

I am surviving (it's what I do). I have been very ill, but hopefully the worst is over now. I went to work yesterday & even managed to stay up past 8pm last night! Whoo Hoo!  I have not had another fainting episode, thank goodness, but I have been dizzy alot. Yes, Fondles .. I AM eating (as best I can), ... and no booze (I am not really a drinker anyway).

It's a bad FibroFlare ... probably the worst I have ever been thru. Lots & lots of sleep and lots of drugs. Heh .. I am dreaming of a foggy Christmas. *giggles*

Anyway, hopefully I am on the mend. The new year will see lots of Dr's appointments & specialists visits ... always so much fun to look forward to.

I hope you all had a great Christmas. Despite feeling like ... well, not me, I had a nice & quiet one myself, Just what the doctor ordered! ;)

I so HATE New Year's Eve ... just an excuse for people to go out & get stupid, so I do not have to worry about making or cancelling any plans for THAT night. I bought myself the new Wii U with some Christmas money (my wii died) so I am sure I will be curled up and happily masters whatever universe I will be playing in at the time.

So Happy New Year's to the rest of you & I hope Santa was good to you.

xoxoxo

  2. GK, I didn't get a chance to go back and read your last post. I need too. Life has been extremely crazy around here and I want to crawl up in a hole and just let it all go by. Cannot wait until the New Year starts and structure once again occurs in my life.

On that note. I am glad to read you are feeling better and doing better. The holiday blues SUCKS!!!

You are right, NY's is when the stupid people really show up. I like your party a lot!

Oh, you and SafeD, any plans yet?

Feel better, and just keep taking care of yourself. Your health is the priority above anything else. (hugs)

    1. I am glad my "holiday season" has been so quiet (usually it's not) .. all I want to do is sleep (or at least lye around in bed wishing I could sleep). I am hoping the worst is over now though.

Yes SafeD and I are still trying to co-ordinate ... hopeing for an early January play date! We are DUE! He is also "more than happy" to bring me along to the next play party, along with his wife (who is a Domme & WANTS to hug the ewok!! - no fucking Dommes for this chick though!!!!)
Anyway, hopefully after this weekend of nothing but video games & sleep .. I will start to feel up to snuff again! Thanks!

  3. Glad you are getting better and taking care of yourself (drugs are nice...the legal ones anyways, lol)...Being sick over Christmas sucks, i was right there with you, even managed a late night ER trip for my troubles. Playing video games for New Years sounds like a great idea...i'll probably be doing something similiar with my kids!

    1. Yes scarlet .. the emergency room is no fun ... especially during the holidays (I almost had to go back myself a couple of times) .. hopefully the worst is over now ... I am so over lying around doing nothing! (but work & sleep of course)

  4. Yikes GK! I'm just catching up. I fainted once in Vegas of all places. I was feeling funny and Daddy and I were in the hotel waiting to go up to our room. Next thing I know I was on the floor. I ended up in the ER which was frustrating because they kept implying it must be alcohol-related when I never had a thing to drink. The whole experience was super scary though.
    Sorry about the fibro-flare too.
Belated (((hugs))). Really hope you're feeling better!

  5. Yeah the fainting was definitely a first for me ... Who knows what happened. When I have flares I do tend to get dizzy so that's probably all it was.

I had a very quiet holiday season so at least I didn't have to explain to a lot of people why I wasn't out & being social.

But thank you ... I am doing much better now.
