    Not what sure what a "slosh" is. Probably similar to a munch, from the context...

    But I hope you do go and have lots of fun!!! My best friends are from those I met in the community, including my dearest Sir. :D

    Thanks JAS! It is like a munch (as far as I can tell). I am actually very shy ... No really I AM!! so to go something like this on my own is a HUGE leap. There is somebody I know MIGHT be going but ... Oooh, must go back to chanting .... "I think I can. I think I can....." O. o

    Oh-- you totally can do it! I haven't been to one in particular-- but I've found that when I attend new things with a really specific purpose everyone is super-friendly and really just about why you're there and being supportive. Sounds like a good thing. :) You can do it, Duffy Moon!

      I WILL (hopefully go next week) ... I am hoping KittenforSir will be there, I "know" her (here & on fl).

      I am very shy (HONEST I AM) and it's just too scary to walk into a room full of people (KINKSTERS) and NOT know anyone.

      That FIRST step IS the hardest but I WILL get there! ;)

      No, I didn't.

      I haven't quite decided what to do with FL and my blogger friends.

      See, I've been on FL since the Fall of 2008. Been using it regularly since Jan 2010. That's much longer than I've been here in blogland. I have people who know the every day "me" and there are very real pictures of me in various states on there.

      Except for Sir, they don't know about my blog. I don't really want them knowing, heh.

      I haven't really decided anything yet, but if I start adding blogger friends, you'll be the first. :)

      Ahh yes SOOO helpful! :P but considering just 2 momths ago I was hiding under my bed saying WTF .. I am maklng progress :P

      AND I got invited to go to a play party tonight .. by a total stranger & his slave! o.O

      Yeah like that's gonna happen! (DON'T EVEN SAY IT JAS!) *giggles* ... maybe next month ;)

      Actually, I'd suggest going to several munches before going to a play party. Especially if you don't know them. It's nice that they offered, but no that's not something I would encourage.

      I'm still not always comfy at play parties. It depends on who is there and the people hosting them. I always feel better when Sir is there, obviously. But there are a few couples who I trust to keep me safe, if He's not around. Those were established over time. So no, I would never recommend to anyone to go rushing out to a private play party or even the bigger public ones.

      Simply the reality is: There are predators out there. And not knowing anyone makes you far more vulnerable to that.

      I am glad that you are trying to branch out and step outside of your comfort zone. :)
