The wait continues ... The nerves are starting to set in ...

We had a scare last night ... The night crew fucked up & ... Well basically Sir Wolf went to bed last night figuring that he would have to work a 12 hour shift & probably Wednesday. ... The last time there was a screw up it took 6 weeks to fix!

Needless to say we were pretty bummed!

But he texted me at 4am (on his way to site) saying that the problem was fixed!!! So all they had to do today was "rig down"

By the time his crew got there everything was done!! Now all they have to do is load up all the gear & take it to the shop ...

So we are a little more hopeful!!

But I remain cautiously optimistic til he is enroute!

And we wait ....

Anticipation: the Ultimate Mind Fuck

Sir Wolf is from Texas. REALLY far away from me. Be we have been planning to get together at the end of June. Time off has been booked ... Passports secured.

Sir Wolf has been working on a job for the past month or so in Pennsylvania. He will be there for 2 -
3 months ... Maybe.

But That's only a 5 hour drive from here.  Very doable.

My renewed passport came in first & then His passport came (His first ever!) .. It was like the Berlin Wall fell .. The border is now open!

The only hurdle left is for Sir Wolf to get time off! The nature of His job ... especially while in PA, is very crazy. Crazy schedules, last minute jobs come up. They never really know what they are doing from day to day & things can change at the drop of a hat!

He is just finishing up this latest job today ... Well tonight actually. And then if no other jobs pop up & His supervisors stop fucking with His head & the stars align ...

He might be here as early as tomorrow night for a 2 - 3 day visit!!!!!!!!

SQUEEEEEE!!!!!!

Maybe.

I  hopefully optimistic.

When I know He is on His way for sure ... That's when I will go fucking crazy!!!!

A Promise is a Promise is a Hockey Jersey! (just a fun post)

In Sept, when life was dark & bleak, a few of us took a road trip Montreal comicon .. it was just a couple of hours away & I was desperate for the distraction .....

Anyway, it was a good day & a Star War loaded con ... David Prowse (the Darth Vader), Daniel Logan (the young Boba Fett from Attack of the Clones) and the awesome Ray Park

At the end of the day, we had a chance to hang around with Ray at his autograph booth. He loves what we do & was really friendly with us. He really liked our garrison's hockey jersey (my Brat & I were wearing)

And me being me, started talking about our con in May & how he should really come. He thought he was booked for Star Wars Weekends at Disney at that time but would really love to come to our con. I admit it I bribed him. I told him that he if came to our con I would get him, his own jersey!!! 

Ray: "really????" 

me: "I promise BUT you have to be there to pick it up" 

Ray: "cool" 

When they announced in April that Ray Park would be coming to our con ... I freaked & I got alot of messages. 

"Geekie! He's coming ... got that hockey jersey????" 

OMG!!!! 

This was the hardest promise that would ever have to keep. The Jersey are costume made and the guy (I don't know what you would call the "maker of jerseys") would not do a special order .. unless I wanted to buy 12 @$165 each! .. ummm No! Thankfully, our garrison had 3 patches left & the template for the embroidering .. but who would make it. I was getting desperate as the weeks moved on. I was literally prepared to take my jersey (remove the number & name on it) and give it to him. Yay ... give a celebrity a used shirt! 

Fun!

But I got an 11th hour save .... from the Ottawa Senators of all people! Well the Sens Store to be exact!! They could do it & it would only take a week! (our jerseys are the same as their 3rd ones) .. all I needed now was the jersey. Luck was still with me .. I was to a hockey store (yes we do have them here in Canada) .. and luckily they found 2 of these jerseys (the Sens got new ones this year) .. hiding in the back! Score!!! I literally picked up the completed jersey ONE DAY before the con!!!!!  (I was so relieved I cried!!!) 

Because a promise is a promise is a hockey jersey!!!! 

He couldn't believe that I remembered! ... "NO!!!" he says in disbelief

"Maul  ... 1/2"   .. it HAD to be done!

I'm back!

This time last week, I was not convinced that I had survived the bedlam that is COMICON. Boy oh boy, it's one thing to troop at a con but entirely different when you are "hosting" ... It doesn't help that we are always determined to outdo ourselves too

*sighs*

Of course after about 2 weeks of non-stop insanity ... I crashed & burnt last week. The fibro started to fight back & laid me low ... 2 days chained to my bed & not in a good way either!

This past weekend was our "Victoria Day" long weekend (equivalent to Memorial Day) .. Which was well timed as I could fully recuperate at my beloved lake! It was a chilly weekend but at least it didn't snow & was an excellent way to recharge my batteries.

I am finding it a tad bit difficult to get back into blogging. I want to blog. I have alot to say. But I can't seem to find the time. I blame my Sir Wolf. *giggles* He takes up a lot of my time .. between kik & skype.

 No I am NOT complaining. I am LOVING it. Every minute of it!!!!!

...... I just haven't found the time to write about  it! ;)

No Rest for the Wicked

I haven't been around much. My Star Wars stuff has pretty much taken over my life for the moment. We have not stopped. 

Last weekend was a big weekend. We had what I like to call Drive By Trooping all weekend long. 

Saturday was Free Comic Book Day (an international thing ... all comic book shops are sent a massive amount of special free comics to give away. It's a an opportunity to promote reading, but to me it's the excuse to celebrate the nerd in all of us. *giggles*

In the afternoon, we had a big Make-a-Wish fund raiser. It was alot of fun .. was sooooo tired after it. I hope it was a success .. there was alot of people there so hopefully they did well (I have no idea how much money was raised. 

And of course Sunday was May the 4th Be With You. Big Star Wars Day throughout the galaxy. We always go to Chapters(Canada's version of Barnes & Noble) .. and HOLY HANNA .. we were treated like rock stars. There was a HUGE crowd waiting for us & they cheered when we came out. Again another event that we get to promote reading at. We were only there an hour but that had to have been one of the busiest hours of my life! Love it!

We then meandered over to a church where a local concert band was putting on a May the 4th be With You concert. 

Soooooo tired. But ... in the meantime. This upcoming weekend is out ComicCon. And we are definately going over the top with this one. Last year we raised over $10,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation & this year we want to top it. The work has been massive ... we have been spending long hours at our "build site" making a new booth. We have even built a detention cell block to launch a new fund raiser ... "jail & bail" we hope that it is a huge success. 

 

We have been so busy .. we haven't even had a chance to blow our own noses!!

I have missed blogging .. so many new & amazing things happening, especially with MyWolf. And so much reading to catch up on too! Oh well after this weekend ... I will return to "life as we know it" (and probably start bitching about how bored I am - NOT)

I can't say that I have really read alot. I am not going to lie .. I DID like the 50 Shades book (ok the second & third book got worse & worse).. I take them for what they are worth though .. fiction.
I read the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty Series (A. N Roquelaure aka Anne Rice) a really long time ago and I really liked them but boy oh boy .. HARDCORE!
Those are really the only ones I have read.

2. Does anyone in vanilla life know about your kink? 
I have one girlfriend that I told. She has been my rock since the very beginning with FormerD. She has been my sounding board & my shoulder to cry on throughout it all! Everybody should have a least one vanilla confidant!

3. What's your favourite sex toy? 
My Wolf! *giggles*

5. Do you prefer cold weather or hot weather?
After the winter we have just had?? Definately hot!!! And we are still waiting for some warm!!!

6. What piece of furniture in your house do you love the most? 
Besides my bed???? I bought this little end table at a garage sale once. It is round and 2 levels (it's reminds me of a drum) . it's unique.

Really??? *giggles* Anybody care to guess? And no it is NOT Star Trek! *giggles*

In case there is somebody out there that DOESN'T know .. I like this little movie called Star Wars.

8. Has anymore other than  your significant other ever spanked you? 
Yes. I long for the day my significant other spanks me though! ;)

9. Do you consider yourself handy?
Yes but particularity good at it but yes I am handy.

I don't really care, except for my Brat & my parents. I am afraid my Brat would not see me the same way (in a bad way) and my parents ... they are totally old school, I wouldn't even begin to know HOW to explain things to them.
